Live events & production

Can Sinewave Audio provide sound, lighting, video and staging for my event?

Yes. Sinewave Audio provides all four — professional audio, video, stage lighting and staging — along with the technicians and event management to run them, so one company handles the whole production.

What kinds of events does Sinewave Audio work?

Corporate meetings and national conferences, concerts, tours, worship events and private parties — anything from a conference room meeting to an arena. Recent work ranges from hotel-ballroom general sessions to arena concerts with full line-array PA, LED walls and moving lights.

Can Sinewave Audio meet an artist’s tech rider?

Yes. Sinewave Audio has supplied equipment and technicians to many award-winning national acts, and its L-Acoustics loudspeaker and amplification inventory is built to meet the demands of any tour rider. Send the rider over and the team will confirm every line before the show.

Do you just rent equipment, or do you send technicians too?

Sinewave Audio is a service company first: its live events come with experienced technicians and event management, not just gear on a truck. If you have a specific equipment-only need, call and ask — the team will tell you straight what makes sense for your situation.

Can Sinewave Audio design an event from the ground up?

Yes. Some clients bring a finished plan and need it executed; others need help designing the event from scratch. Sinewave Audio does both, and coordinates directly with venues, local labor, artists and presenters so questions are settled before the event starts.

Has Sinewave Audio worked with national touring acts?

Yes. Sinewave Audio has provided equipment and technicians to a very large list of award-winning national acts, for both one-off concerts and tours, and its technicians bring decades of touring experience.

What audio equipment does Sinewave Audio use?

Sinewave Audio owns an extensive inventory from L-Acoustics, JBL, EAW, Lab.gruppen, Lake, Shure, Sennheiser, DiGiCo, Avid, Midas, Yamaha, Radial Engineering, Whirlwind and Waves.

What lighting and staging equipment does Sinewave Audio have?

Lighting inventory comes from Martin, Elation, MA Lighting, ETC, Jands and LEX. Staging, truss and scenic gear comes from Stage Right, Rose Brand, James Thomas Engineering, Tomcat, CM Entertainment Technology and Applied Electronics.

How far in advance should I book production for my event?

As soon as you have a date and a venue. Large conferences and tours are usually planned months ahead, but it’s always worth calling — the sooner Sinewave knows your date, the more options you have.

What should I have ready when I ask for an event quote?

The date, venue, expected headcount, a rough run of show or agenda, and any artist riders. Mention what matters most — speech clarity, a big concert sound, video for the back of the room, a certain look — and your budget range. Missing pieces are fine; the team will help fill them in.

AV systems for churches, schools & businesses

Does Sinewave Audio install sound systems in churches?

Yes. Houses of worship are a core part of Sinewave Audio’s Integrated Systems division. Every church system starts from a custom design built around how that church actually runs — changing weekly programming, volunteer operators, and the room itself.

Can Sinewave Audio fix the acoustics in our sanctuary?

Yes. Many sanctuaries were built for a different style of worship than today’s. Sinewave Audio evaluates the room, designs acoustic treatment, and installs it — or works with your general contractor on a new build so the room supports the message instead of fighting it.

Will our volunteers be able to run the system?

That’s the design goal. Sinewave Audio avoids over-complicating systems for teams that rely on volunteers, uses control systems to simplify everyday operation, and provides training and follow-up support with every installation.

Does Sinewave Audio work with schools?

Yes. Sinewave Audio has designed and installed audio, video, theatrical lighting, digital signage and control systems for K-12 schools and colleges — auditoriums, gymnasiums, commons, dance studios and classrooms.

Does Sinewave Audio do conference rooms and commercial AV?

Yes. The Integrated Systems division designs and installs AV for offices and commercial buildings, including conference room displays, digital signage, sound systems and control systems, finished on time and on budget.

Can Sinewave Audio work with our architect or general contractor on a new building?

Yes. Bringing an AV integrator in early on a new build means power, conduit, rigging points and acoustics get planned up front. Sinewave Audio routinely coordinates with general contractors so the AV system and the room are designed together.

Do you offer training after an install?

Yes — training and follow-up support come with every integration project. As Sinewave puts it, even a great system can fail if operators are unfamiliar with it.

Why does it matter that Sinewave’s installers also run live events?

Because they design from the operator’s side of the console. Sinewave’s project managers mix, light and run shows, so they build systems that are pleasant to operate, not just systems that technically work.

Does Sinewave Audio sell standard packages?

No. Sinewave Audio was founded specifically to avoid the “cookie-cutter” approach that leaves clients with unaddressed needs. Each system is designed to the client’s needs and budget.

Pricing & getting started

How much does event production or an AV install cost?

It depends on the room, the audience, the program and what you need — so Sinewave Audio quotes each project individually rather than publishing a price list. The team’s approach is to meet your needs within your budget; share your budget range up front and they’ll design to it.

How do I get a quote from Sinewave Audio?

Call (765) 374-3845, email info@sinewaveaudio.com, or send the project form on this site with your date, venue or building, and what you need. The Sinewave team will follow up to talk it through.

Production terms, explained

What’s the difference between an AV rental company and a production company?

A rental company mainly supplies equipment. A production company supplies the equipment plus the people who design, set up and operate it, and takes responsibility for how the event actually looks and sounds. Sinewave Audio works as a full production company, with event management included.

What is a line array, and does my event need one?

A line array is a vertical column of loudspeaker cabinets that work together to throw even, controlled sound over long distances — why you see them hung at arena shows. Large rooms, outdoor stages and concerts usually benefit from one; a meeting room usually doesn’t. Sinewave Audio carries L-Acoustics line arrays for events that need them.

What does “front of house” (FOH) mean?

Front of house is the mixing position out in the audience area, where the engineer controls what the crowd hears. “Monitors” refers to the separate mix performers hear on stage.

What is a tech rider?

A tech rider is the part of an artist’s contract that lists the production they need: PA, consoles, microphones, monitors, lighting, staging and power. A production company like Sinewave Audio reads the rider and supplies or approves each item before the show.

Why does our church or gym sound muddy?

Usually because of reverberation: hard, parallel surfaces keep sound bouncing long after it’s spoken, and words blur together. The fix is often a combination of acoustic treatment and loudspeakers aimed precisely at the seats instead of the walls — which is why Sinewave Audio models and evaluates a room before recommending a system.

What is an AV control system?

A control system ties the equipment in a room together behind a simple touch panel or button plate, so “start service” or “presentation mode” is one press instead of a dozen. Sinewave Audio uses control systems to make rooms easier for staff and volunteers to run.
